Heavy Equipment Fabricator/Welder

We are a fast-growing, family-owned heavy equipment company specializing in equipment rebuilds. Our work includes sandblasting, metal fabrication, welding, and machine painting. We take machines from worn and weathered to fully restored, and we’re looking for a skilled fabricator/welder to join our team.

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder who can contribute to full/partial equipment restoration work. This role includes everything from cutting out old metal to fabricating new panels, blasting frames, welding structural components, and full-machine paint and prep.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Perform sandblasting of heavy equipment frames, booms, components, and attachments
- Fabricate new metal panels and structural components from scratch
- Weld structural steel and repair cracks, buckets, panels, etc.
- Prepare surfaces for primer and partial/full machine paint jobs (filling, grinding, smoothing metal if necessary)
- Assist with full-body equipment transformations as well as small patch repairs
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets safety and quality expectations
- Work safely in a shop/yard environment around heavy machinery




- Maintain shop cleanliness and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications:

- Strong welding/fabrication skills (MIG required; TIG/Stick an asset)
- Experience rebuilding or restoring heavy equipment, trucks, industrial machines, or large steel structures
- Able to fabricate parts and panels from raw steel using shears, plasma cutter, etc.
- Comfortable with sandblasting equipment and metal finishing
- Painting experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physical setting
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, self-starter attitude

Compensation:

- $30.00 - $45.00 depending on experience and skill level (Higher pay available for candidates with full-rebuild experience)
- Consistent year-round work
