Senior AI Voice Developer — Healthcare SaaS

Hours: 10-16 per week, with agreed availability for urgent production issues

We’re looking for a hands-on developer to take ownership of an existing multi-tenant healthcare AI voice and chat platform. You’ll start fixing broken features and delivering improvements from day one. We need someone who investigates problems, proposes practical solutions, ships working code, and communicates promptly.

Before asking me to test a feature, you must test it yourself and confirm that its core functionality works. If I’m the one discovering an obvious issue in a feature you’ve just delivered, this role will not be a good fit.

What you’ll do

- Diagnose and fix issues in live voice, chat, and application workflows
- Build and maintain AI voice agents and integrations with telephony and other systems
- Improve call handling, including interruptions, failures, and transfers to a human
- Develop backend features while keeping each customer’s data and configuration separate
- Test, deploy, monitor, and support the features you deliver
- Provide clear progress updates and respond within agreed timeframes

What you bring

- Direct experience building and supporting AI voice systems in production
- Solid backend, API, database, cloud deployment, and integration skills




- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and protecting sensitive customer data
- Sound judgment about healthcare workflows and when an AI interaction should escalate to a human
- The ability to work independently and resolve issues without step-by-step direction

Our development safeguards

You may use Claude as a development tool. Be transparent about its use and take responsibility for understanding and testing every change you submit. Changes must go through pull requests and human review. A designated human reviewer must approve the changes and the production release before deployment. Do not put patient information into Claude or other AI tools without explicit project approval.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
