We’re recruiting Full-time Registered Nurses (RN’s) for Correctional facility in Penetanguishene, Ontario.

About You:
We are currently looking for caring and compassionate RN’s who are flexible working for Correctional facilities in Penetanguishene, Ontario. The ideal candidate must be able to attend to multiple patients at a time in a fast-paced environment. Correctional facility experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
*Provide and ensure all duties and tasks are completed
*Provide direct patient care
*Follow the policies and procedures implemented by facility
*Procure and administer medication
*Monitor patients progress and report changes

Requirements:

- RN's must be in good standing with CNO
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months is a must
- TB test within the last 1 year
- Proof of 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccination
- Must be familiar with online charting (eg. MEDITECH, e-MAR, Point-Click-Care)
- N95 Mask Fit
- RN experience in Correctional Facility is preferred.
- Must be punctual, energetic and compassionate · Should be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, should be comfortable working solely and/or in a team environment
- Must be flexible during the week and weekends
- Must be flexible to work days, nights and on Statutory holidays




- *FOR INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS YOU MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE & WSIB CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FOR YOUR INCORPORATION AND PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY PROTECTION (membership with RNAO)
