We are looking for an adaptable, field-ready Journeyperson Off Road - Heavy Equipment Technician to manage fleet maintenance across premium oil sands production and major civil earthmoving contracts in the area.If you take pride in diagnosing the root cause instead of just swapping parts, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do :Operating directly out of a service truck, you will keep critical operations moving by maintaining a diverse, heavy off-road fleet.



Your daily focus will include:

- Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on major yellow iron brands (Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere).
- Field Service Excellence: Safely executing unexpected breakdown repairs, critical component swaps, and high-quality preventative maintenance across both large-scale production sites and active construction footprints.
- Client Interface: Representing the JJJ team professionally when communicating with site supervisors and clients.
- Documentation: Completing clear, accurate service reports, Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs), and work orders.

What You Bring :To maintain our elite standard of service, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Trade Certification: Valid Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician / Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket (Red Seal highly preferred).
- Off-Road Mastery: Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated field experience working directly on heavy earthmoving, construction, or mining machinery.
- Site Ready: Ability to pass all pre-access requirements, including a drug and alcohol screen, and hold valid safety tickets.
- Logistics: Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and professional English communication skills.
