Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) | Newmarket, ON
Mr. M’s Auto Service - NAPA AutoPro | 30 Charles Street, Newmarket | Full-time | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, no weekends
Pay: $38 to $45 per hour, based on experience. Hourly wages, not flat-rate.
About us
Mr. M’s Auto Service has been serving Newmarket from the same location since 2002, and has been owned and operated by Ryan since 2017. With 10 service bays at our Newmarket shop and a team of 11 across our two locations, we’re looking for a licensed technician who takes pride in doing the job right and treating customers honestly. We give our techs the tools and support to do the same.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair all makes and models: brakes, suspension, steering, engine, electrical, A/C, exhaust, and general maintenance
- Perform wheel alignments, plus the occasional truck job such as a lift kit, levelling kit, or rim and tire package
- Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVI) on your own shop-issued tablet
- Use built-in repair data on your tablet, so the information you need is at your bay
- Record clear tech notes so our service advisors can explain repairs to customers
- Recommend required work accurately
- Keep your bay organized and follow shop safety practices
What we’re looking for
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician certificate of qualification
- 2+ years of experience in an independent or dealership shop
- Strong diagnostic skills and comfort with scan tools and modern vehicle systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Reliable, team-minded, and valuable at follow-through
- Own tools
