We’re looking for hardworking, dependable and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics Journeyperson and apprentices 2nd, 3rd and 4th year to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on our fleet of on-road heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostics, repairs,



and preventative maintenance on off-road heavy equipment for earthmoving and paving
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Complete service and repair work according to manufacturer, industry, and regulatory standards
- Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and road-ready
- Maintain accurate records of service, inspections, and repairs
- Work independently in the shop, in the field, or on-road environments
- Support a strong safety culture through safe work practices and compliance

Qualifications

- Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeypersons and Apprentices
- CVIP certification is an asset
- Valid Safety Tickets: CSTS 2020 -
- Able to successfully pass a drug and alcohol test
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, a reliable transportation and a current drivers abstract
- Must maintain respectful, professional communication and support a positive team culture
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Solid commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
- Maintenance and repair experience of street sweepers
- Strong electrical, emissions, and hydraulic diagnostic skills
