Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/Renovation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and renovation projects across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Your expertise will ensure that spaces are functional, safe, and visually appealing, contributing to the overall quality and integrity of each project. Responsibilities

- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, drywall installation, painting, caulking, and flooring installation.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute renovation plans.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and concrete repairs as needed.
- Install cabinets, tiles, flooring materials, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and perform electrical troubleshooting when necessary.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces.
- Estimate project costs by assessing materials needed and planning work schedules effectively.

Requirements





- Proven experience in construction or renovation work with a strong understanding of building processes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of diverse trades including carpentry, drywall finishing, masonry, welding, electrical systems, plumbing, tile laying, flooring installation, and painting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues in office.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Preferred qualifications include experience with concrete forming and finishing techniques, construction estimating experience, familiarity with restoration projects, and certifications related to heavy equipment operation or specialized trades.
