Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Plumber (306)A to join our clients dynamic maintenance team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across industrial commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The ideal candidate will bring a robust foundation in plumbing techniques, mechanical systems, and construction practices, contributing to the successful completion of projects with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to assemble plumbing components accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in the installation of HVAC components related to plumbing systems when required.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted.
- Operate commercial vehicles responsibly for material transport or project site visits as needed.




- Support other trades such as carpentry or welding tasks when necessary to facilitate project progress.
- Must be a team player

Skills

- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within an industrial, commercial and residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of piping systems, fixtures, HVAC integration, and schematics reading.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning.
- Construction experience with familiarity in carpentry and assembly tasks.
- Valid license as a professional plumber coupled with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, welding, construction sites, and hazardous materials.
- Backflow certification would be an asset

Pay: $40.00-$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week
