Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 3 to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in early childhood education, creativity in program planning, and a genuine commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role requires effective communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate with children, families, and colleagues.

As a licensed child care program, we are committed to providing safe, inclusive, and high-quality care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our team follows Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care Act and the FLIGHT: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework to ensure children’s growth, curiosity, and development are supported every day.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate, play-based programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through open and respectful communication.
- Guide and support Level 1 and Level 2 educators in classroom routines and program delivery.
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children at all times.
- Maintain a clean,



organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Document children’s learning, development, and experiences through portfolios and daily communication with families.
- Collaborate with the team to create inclusive strategies that support children of diverse abilities and backgrounds.

Qualifications

- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 3 (Child Development Supervisor) certification (required).
- Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Valid Child Care First Aid Certification (must be maintained current).
- Strong knowledge of Alberta’s licensing requirements and early learning best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide educators at Level 1 and 2.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
