HomeFree is hiring an LPN to give in-home nursing care to one client in southwest Calgary. You’ll join a small, steady team that cares for this client around the clock.

HomeFree is a physician-led homecare company. We bring nursing-home-level care into people’s homes so seniors can live well where they want to be. We serve more than 40 clients with a team of over 100 caregivers and nurses. We use simple apps for scheduling and charting so you can spend your time on care.
What you’ll do
- Give hands-on nursing care, including personal care, transfers and foot care
- Give medications on time, every time, and keep the medication record current
- Support secure eating and drinking, including special diets and texture-modified foods
- Watch for small changes in breathing, alertness or swallowing, and report concerns right away
- Follow care plans and exercise plans as written
- Chart clearly, accurately and on time
- Work closely with other nurses, the Care Manager and the family
What you bring
Required
- Active LPN registration in Alberta
- At least 3 years of nursing experience
- Comfort using apps for scheduling and charting
- Experience caring for people with Parkinson’s disease
- Experience with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
- Home care experience
- Current CPR and First Aid
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Reliable transportation
