Job Summary

Dentists on Wheels is looking for an outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our growing mobile dental team!

This unique hybrid position combines clinical dental assisting, remote reception and administration, and community outreach.

Our mobile dental truck currently operates twice a week. On other days, the successful candidate will work from home managing reception and administrative duties, with approximately one day per week dedicated to visiting senior homes and care facilities to introduce our services.

Key Responsibilities

- Mobile Dental Assisting (2 days/week): Assist dentists with procedures, sterilization, equipment preparation, and patient care.
- Remote Reception: Manage calls, appointment scheduling, insurance claims, billing, patient inquiries, and coordination with care facilities.
- Community Outreach (1 day/week): Visit senior residences and long-term care facilities to introduce our mobile dental services, build relationships, and develop new opportunities.
- Independently coordinate daily operations and ensure smooth communication between patients, dentists, and facilities.

Qualifications

- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) registered in BC.




- Dental reception or administrative experience strongly preferred.
- Outgoing, friendly, organized, and confident communicating with people.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
- Robust multitasking and communication skills.
- Experience with seniors or long-term care facilities is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle strongly preferred.
- Access to a personal mobile phone preferred.
- Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour
