Duties
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to recover and transport vehicles in various conditions
- Assess vehicle situations to determine the best towing methods and equipment needed
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients and motorists
- Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including locations, times, and vehicle details
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations to ensure personal and public safety
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and towing equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor issues
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects safely
- Prior experience in commercial driving or roadside assistance is preferred but not mandatory
