Downtown On Call

The Downtown On Call team deals with front line issues related to personal safety, hospitality and help create a positive social environment in Downtown Kelowna.

We are looking for new team members that are able to resolve conflict situations, use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone) and computers and are comfortable with data input and writing reports. First Aid training would be an asset.

Job Description:

- Assist resolving personal conflict incidents

- Assist business owners and employees when calls are received

- Work with individuals to move from doorways, storefronts, and businesses

- Liaise with RCMP when necessary

- Patrol all Downtown streets with partner as directed

- Maintain incident reporting in supplied software app

- Assist with event set up as directed by Supervisor

Requirements:

- Valid BST Certificate

- Enthusiastic, outgoing attitude with robust communication skills, both verbal and written





- Physically able for substantial walking, bending, and lifting

- Solid work ethic, reliable and able to work effectively without supervision

- Able to take direction when necessary

- Able to work weekends, early mornings, days, and evenings as required

Hours:

- Full time, 7 days a week availability

- Days, evenings and weekends - actual days and hours may vary

- Uniform provided

Rate of Pay:

Up to $25.00/hour with experience

Full company paid benefits after 3-month probation period
