Skilled Renovation Worker / Carpenter

Hewlett Renovations & Construction is looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated person to join our team. We’re looking for someone with hands-on construction or renovation experience who enjoys working with their tools, figuring things out, and seeing a project come together.

Our projects cover a range of residential renovations and construction, including kitchens, bathrooms, basement renovations, framing, additions, windows, doors, and exterior work. We need someone who is comfortable taking on different tasks, can work with some independence, and takes pride in the finished product.

We value a good work ethic, a willingness to learn, and someone who brings ideas and a positive attitude to the job.

What the Work Looks Like

No two projects are exactly the same. Depending on the job, your work may include:

- Demolition, removal, and jobsite preparation
- Framing, general carpentry, and material installation
- Light drywall repairs, patching, and painting
- Tile work and flooring system installation
- Installing doors, windows, trim, and other finishing details
- Exterior construction and general repairs
- Measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling materials
- Handling materials, keeping the jobsite organized, and maintaining a safe work area
- Working alongside our crew and other trades to keep projects moving
- Identifying issues and helping find practical solutions on site

We’re looking for someone who is willing to pitch in wherever needed and understands that quality work involves more than just getting through a checklist.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in residential construction, renovations, or carpentry
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools
- A good understanding of basic construction methods and materials




- Ability to measure accurately and complete work with attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to put in an honest day's work
- Able to follow instructions while also working independently when needed
- Customer-focused and respectful when working in people's homes
- Willing to learn new skills, take feedback, and share ideas
- Able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment
- Your own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Formal trade qualifications are an asset, but we're more interested in your experience, practical skills, attitude, and willingness to grow.

Hewlett Renovations & Construction is a locally operated company serving Greater Sudbury and surrounding areas. We work on a variety of renovation and construction projects, giving our crew the opportunity to be involved in different stages of the job, from the initial demolition through to the finishing details.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
