Are you a detail-oriented technician with a passion for automotive electrical, custom fabrication, and equipment installation? We are looking for experienced Vehicle and Equipment Upfitters to build high-quality commercial, Service bodies, and municipal fleet vehicles in Edmonton, AB.

What You’ll Do

- Equipment Installation: Install service truck bodies, flat decks, toolboxes, liftgates, 12-volt accessories, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, Vmac and Multi-functions.
- Electrical & Electronics: Wire and program emergency lighting, led lights, dual-battery systems, power inverters, telematics, and control switches.
- Custom Fabrication: Perform light fabrication duties, including cutting, drilling, bracket fabrication, basic MIG welding, and assembly to customize and ensure proper fitment of equipment and components.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Component troubleshooting and test installed systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with safety standards before client handover.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle upfitting, automotive electrical systems, or heavy-duty equipment mechanics.
- Skills:



Strong understanding of 12V DC electrical systems, wiring diagrams/schematics, and safe operation of hand and power tools.
- Certifications (Assets): Journeyman or Apprentice Automotive Service Technician, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, or Auto Accessories & Installations is considered an asset.
- Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract and reliable transportation.
- Mindset: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, a positive attitude, and a safety-first approach to all work.

Pay: $18.67-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

- Service Body install: 2 years (preferred)
- Vehicle Upfitting: 2 years (required)
