Position: Yard/Forklift Operator
Company: I-XL Building Products (Canada’s leading distributor of architectural masonry)
Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (No weekends/evenings and closed statutory holidays)

I-XL Building is searching for an additional team member to join their busy branch. This is not just a forklift position, you will be responsible for the yard and warehouse operations that include loading/unloading shipments and maintaining inventory. The Yard/Forklift Operator position works in a physically demanding environment, building pallets and involved in heavy lifting on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and strong customer service skills. You are comfortable working outdoors, a reliable team player and have at least two three years forklift operator experience within a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle yard and warehouse operations: loading/unloading, staging, and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate via radio.
- Inspect and maintain forklifts; ensure safe operation.
- Keep yard/warehouse clean and organized; assist with snow removal.
- Work safely and report hazards.

Qualifications

- 2-3+ years forklift experience in a similar environment.




- Valid forklift license (or ability to obtain).
- Comfortable working outdoors and lifting 50+ lbs. regularly.
- Solid customer service skills and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license; full background check required.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
