Northridge Maintenance Solutions is looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated Construction Labourers to join our team for an ongoing restaurant renovation project in Beaverton, Ontario.

This position is ideal for individuals who have some hands-on construction experience, particularly in drywall installation, tiling, framing, and general renovation work.

You do not need to be a fully experienced tradesperson, but you should have a basic understanding of construction work, be comfortable using hand and power tools, and be willing to learn.

We provide on-site training in various construction and renovation tasks, making this a excellent opportunity for individuals looking to expand their skills and gain valuable experience.

Job Responsibilities

Drywall Installation & Finishing

- Assist with measuring, cutting, and installing drywall on walls and ceilings.
- Assist with drywall taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
- Prepare drywall surfaces for painting.
- Assist experienced workers with drywall repairs and installation.

Tile Installation

- Assist with floor and wall tile installation in restaurant washrooms.
- Assist with tile installation throughout the restaurant floor.
- Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning and levelling.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, laying, and grouting tiles.
- Help maintain clean and organized work areas.

General Construction & Renovations

- Assist with wood framing and general carpentry.
- Perform demolition, site preparation, and cleanup.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials.
- Assist with painting, flooring, and other renovation tasks.




- Use basic hand and power tools safely.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople.
- Maintain a safe and organized job site.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Some previous construction or renovation experience preferred.
- Basic experience in drywall, tiling, framing, or general renovations is a robust asset.
- Must possess a valid Ontario full G driver's licence (G1 and G2 licences are not accepted).
- Must be able to travel independently to and from the job site.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and perform different construction tasks.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying construction materials.
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.

Applicants with basic to intermediate construction experience are encouraged to apply. Advanced trade qualifications are not required.
