Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (2 Positions)

Facility: Lamont Health Care Centre

Status: Permanent Part-time

Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing secure, compassionate, and evidence-informed nursing care to patients within the Emergency and Acute Care departments, with the expectation to float to the Long-Term Care (LTC) unit as operational needs require. The LPN is expected to work flexibly across departments based on patient acuity, workload, and staffing requirements.

The LPN works collaboratively as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess and respond to patient needs, promote positive health outcomes, and deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.



The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive care environment.

Reporting to: Acute Care/ER Nursing Care Coordinator

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of recognized LPN program

2. Current License with the CLHA.

3. ACLS/ CTAS / PALS / TNCC required.

4. Current CPR required.

5. ER/Acute Care experience preferred.

Hours: 0.74 FTE (Evenings) position shift 1145-2000

Salary: As per AUPE and Multi-employer Collective Agreement
