Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven General Manager to lead all dealership operations. As the GM, you will be the primary driver of profitability, customer retention, and employee engagement. You will oversee Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance departments, ensuring each operates at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of manufacturer compliance and brand integrity. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, develop and implement effective strategies, and ensure the dealership's profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure seamless workflow and maximum productivity.
- Financial Management: Manage the P&L; statement; develop and execute annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and cost-control strategies.
- Sales Leadership: Partner with the General Sales Manager (GSM) to set aggressive yet realistic unit and gross profit targets.
- Fixed Operations Oversight: Drive Service and Parts performance (RO counts, effective labor rates, and parts turn) to ensure a reliable "absorption" rate.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor department managers. Foster a culture of accountability and high morale.
- Customer Experience: Maintain a top-tier Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)



score by resolving escalated concerns and improving the customer journey.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a General Manager or General Sales Manager in a high-volume dealership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) (e.g., CDK Global, Reynolds & Reynolds).
- Compliance: Deep understanding of local automotive laws, F&I; regulations, and manufacturer requirements.
- Leadership: Proven track record of improving store profitability and "turning around" underperforming departments.

Qualifications:

- Proven track record of success in sales
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Degree in Business or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
