Kootenay Columbia Home Medical Equipment is looking for an energetic Territory Service Technician staff member to join our dedicated team in Cranbrook. Position hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday – Friday with benefit package available.

KC Home Medical Equipment has been delivering high quality sales and service of home medical equipment in the East and West Kootenays for 25 years. We sell and service a wide range of medical equipment and mobility products including hospital beds, power/manual wheelchairs, scooters, stair lifts, porch lifts and home elevators.

The Territory Service Technician staff member will conduct assessments, delivery, set up and troubleshooting of Durable Medical Equipment.

Job Summary

· Conducts diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting on durable medical equipment (DME).

· Execute repairs, including replacement of parts (e.g., batteries, motors, electronic components, wheels).

· Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications and contract requirements.

· Assemble, deliver and install recent/rental equipment according to manufacturer instructions and client-specific configurations.

· Program and troubleshoot power wheelchair electronics (e.g., R-Net, joysticks, modules, lighting, tilt/recline, elevating functions).

· Work well within a team and complete accurate and detailed documentation.

· Routine daytime travel within the East Kootenay

· Build relationships with clinicians, clients, vendors and community partners

· Home Medical Equipment background an asset but not required – training will be provided.
