Our client, in the logistics field, is seeking an Class 1 Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in temperature-controlled logistics.

Job Title: Class 1 Driver
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday: 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Pay Rate: $24/hour (competitive starting wage with flexibility based on experience)

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate refrigerated trucks to transport goods and materials between designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, with proper safety precautions.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with schedule.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
- Assist with loading, securing, and unloading cargo as needed.

What’s Needed?

- Valid Class 1 Driver's License for at least 3 years required
- Over the age of 25 years (to meet company insurance requirements)
- Ability to provide a clear driver's abstract and proof of clear criminal history
- Experience as a Class 1 driver/ parcel delivery
- Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work safely in varying weather conditions
