Duties

- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, prep zones, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently to ensure availability for food preparation and service.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers.
- Support the culinary team by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients in accordance with food handling protocols.
- Follow sanitation procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a hygienic environment at all times.




- Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote an environmentally responsible kitchen operation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food prep and smooth service flow during busy hours.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and basic kitchen operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy pots or moving supplies.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
- Excellent teamwork skills; willingness to support others in rapid-paced settings.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques; experience in cooking or hotel service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service in a hospitality environment.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
