Skypeace Production Inc. is looking for a reliable and experienced Camera Operator who can also drive to different locations to cover events, news stories, and other assignments for a television show. The ideal candidate must have their own camera body and lens, a valid Class 5 driver's licence, and the ability to travel to various filming locations independently.
Responsibilities
- Operate a camera for TV show filming, event coverage, and field assignments.
- Drive to different locations across Metro Vancouver for scheduled coverage.
- Capture high-quality video footage according to production requirements.
- Set up and operate camera equipment at various locations.
- Coordinate with the production team regarding filming schedules and assignments.
- Follow the production schedule and ensure timely arrival at each location.
- Manage camera equipment responsibly and maintain professional standards on set.
Requirements
- Must own a qualified camera body and compatible lens.
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Must be comfortable driving to different locations for event and news coverage.
- Must be available to work 4 days per week.
- Must have practical camera operating and video shooting experience.
- Must be punctual, organized, reliable, and professional.
- Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced TV production environment.
