Our pediatric dental clinic is looking for a caring, reliable, and personable Dental Assistant to join our team. We’re seeking someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is a team player with robust communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, compassionate approach. Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Dental surgery under General Anesthesia
- Consultations
- Restorative/extractions
- Recalls
- Taking dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Instrument sterilization and maintaining the sterile bay
- Tray and operatory set up for all procedures
- Providing patient education and post-operative instructions
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- HARP certification
- Current CPR certification
- Tracker Dental Software
- Strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience preferred but new graduates welcome to apply
Job Hours: 25-32 hrs/week (Monday – Thursday, no evenings)
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 32.0 per week
