Overview

Join our team as a Student RMT or Intern Massage Therapist and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive clinic environment.

This paid position is ideal for massage therapy students who are currently enrolled in an accredited program and looking to build confidence, strengthen clinical skills, and gain experience working with a variety of clients.

You’ll have the opportunity to apply what you are learning in school while developing your communication, assessment, treatment planning, and client-care skills in a professional setting.

Duties

- Provide massage therapy sessions within your current level of training and permitted scope.
- Assist with client intake and gather relevant information regarding areas of tension, discomfort, and treatment goals.
- Apply techniques learned through your massage therapy program under appropriate clinic guidance.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment workplace.
- Follow clinic sanitation, hygiene, privacy, and safety procedures.
- Complete treatment notes and documentation as required by the clinic.
- Educate clients on general self-care within your level of training and refer questions outside your scope when appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Massage Therapists and other clinic team members.
- Participate in ongoing learning, feedback, and professional development.

Qualifications





- Currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Massage Therapy program.
- Student RMT, massage therapy intern, or recent graduate preparing for registration.
- Strong interest in developing hands-on clinical and client-care experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working with a diverse range of clients.
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continue developing clinical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Commitment to client confidentiality, professionalism, and clinic policies.
- Previous customer service, fitness, wellness, or healthcare experience is an asset but not required.
