Diversified Staffing Services are seeking Drywall Tapers to join our roster. The best candidates will be able to:

- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- Drywall Installer and Finisher Specific Skills – Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
- Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists

REQUIRED SKILLS
To be considered for this role, you will:

- Must be 18 years of age
- Have 3-5+ years of Construction experience
- Comprehend the English language as safety orientations are conducted in English




- Have valid CSTS/WHMIS certification is an asset
- Have valid Fall Arrest Certification is an asset
- Have experience in all aspects of Drywall work – Hanging, Taping and Mudding
- Have the ability to work with Superintendents and Foremen effectively and safely
- Work in a fast paced/Team based environment
- Be reliable and adhere to our client’s safety standards
- Live in Red Deer or surrounding area
- Having a vehicle is an asset
