About the Job:

As a General Labourer at Coachwood Group, you will play a vital role in our production process. We're looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.



Our team members are expected to maintain a clean workspace, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

- Availability: You must be available to work Monday to Friday, between the hours of 6:30 am and 3:30 pm.
- Reliable Transportation: Access to reliable transportation is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is crucial to ensure correct weights and measurements of our products.
- Digital Scale Knowledge: Prior experience with digital scales is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
- Cleanliness: You should be adept at maintaining a clean workstation.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work well under time restrictions.
- Physical Ability: You should be able to work standing for extended periods (approximately 70% of the day) and lift 20- 50 lbs when necessary.
- Team Player: We value teamwork, and all employees should be willing to assist in other aspects of the workplace that may not be part of their job duties.
- Personal Protective Equipment: You must be able to provide your own indoor shoes; we provide gloves, hairnets, lab coats, smocks and steel-toe shoe caps upon entry to the production/warehouse area.
- Long-Term Commitment: We are looking for someone who is loyal and committed to a long-term position with our company.

- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
- Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment
- Proficiency with order picking systems and RF scanners
- Knowledge of inventory control practices is a plus

Duties:

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation
- Operate RF scanners, forklift, and other warehouse equipment
- Support warehouse supervisors in daily tasks
- Package items for shipment or storage
- Operate heavy equipment as needed
- Assist with inventory control procedures
