Early Leaders Academy is a Licensed multi-age child care dedicated to nurturing young children through faith-based learning, play, and loving guidance. We provide a warm, secure, and developmentally rich environment for children ages 0–5, rooted in biblical values, kindness, and leadership.

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team. The ideal candidate is caring, professional, and committed to creating a Christ-centred learning environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Key Responsibilities

- This will be an early morning shift starting at 7:30am to 11:30am M-F.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children 0–5 based on the BC Early Learning Framework.
- Provide a nurturing, inclusive, and Christ-centred environment.
- Lead daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, naps, transitions, and outdoor play.
- Support children’s spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Incorporate simple Bible stories, songs, prayer, and Christian values into daily programming.
- Ensure compliance with BC Child Care Licensing Regulations at all times.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized indoor and outdoor environments.
- Follow all health, hygiene, emergency, and supervision policies.
- Document incidents, attendance, and daily reports as needed.
- Build positive, professional relationships with children,



families, and staff.
- Communicate daily with parents regarding children’s progress and needs.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and faith-based professional growth.

Qualifications

- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate recognized by the BC ECE Registry.
- Current Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in a multi-age childcare setting is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and participate in active play.
