- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC press brakes, CNC Punch Press equipment, and other sheet metal fabrication machinery.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required dimensions and quality standards.
- Make machine adjustments as required to maintain accuracy and production efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and identify equipment issues requiring attention.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Work effectively with production and quality-control personnel to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to protected work practices.
Preferred/Required Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC sheet metal fabrication equipment.
- Experience with press brakes and turret punch presses.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience working in a production manufacturing environment.
