We are looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our team! We are a growing office looking for someone to be a team player and help wherever they are needed. Here are a few duties that we are looking for you to perform:

- Answer and make calls in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Schedule appointments and take payments.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Assist with frame and lens selection and fitting for glasses
- Checking lens orders that come from the lab
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Explain and perform diagnostic pre-testing procedures including OCT, Visual Fields, and Opto Map Imaging.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pre-test rooms and optical area
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
- Knowledge of Optosys EHR is a plus but not required

Located just outside of Ottawa in Richmond, Ontario, we are a 4 year old clinic with one doctor in a growing community. Our equipment is high-end, with EyeTech's focus on providing comprehensive eye exams, looking at more than just a patients' glasses prescription, as well as providing Dry Eye Treatments.
