Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables accurately and promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Assist servers with food running duties during busy service periods to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and food handling tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal to uphold health standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff,
servers, and guests to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest requests courteously, providing excellent customer service that enhances the overall dining experience.
Experience
- Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
- Experience in restaurant settings or similar customer-facing roles is highly valued.
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and basic food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling tools is a plus.
- Previous experience working in hotels or barista roles can be advantageous for understanding guest services.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for success in this energetic environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads for extended periods while maintaining a positive demeanor.
