Job Summary

We are a hospitality staffing firm looking to hire Front of House Staff for our client in the Queen Elizabeth Way and Royal Windsor Dr area of Oakville. Ideal candidates will have high energy and great hospitality skills. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of the establishment, ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a lively, friendly atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to support kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction




- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking efficiently

Requirements

- Prior food service in Tim Horton's will be an asset
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, order calculations, and transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous; kitchen experience is a bonus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Positive communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Must have own transportation as public transit is not available
- Must be able to work full time
- Flexibility in start time between 5:00am and 6:00am a must

Pay: $19.00 per hour
