Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctor’s orders and established protocols
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapies as needed in consultation with medical staff
- Maintain detailed and organized records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventories
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety procedures, and hospital policies
- Educate patients on medication management, including adherence strategies and lifestyle considerations
Skills
- Speak Cantonese and Mandarin besides English
- Experience working with pediatric patients and managing pediatric medication needs
- Excellent knowledge and experience of compounding
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations
- Ability to accurately administer medications and perform medication reconciliation processes
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications and documenting procedures

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
