Our client in Southeast Calgary is hiring a reliable and experienced Shipper/Receiver with leadership qualities to join their warehouse team! This is a full-time opportunity for someone with sit-down counterbalance forklift experience, a positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment handling fresh produce.

Location: Southeast Calgary, Alberta
Wage: $21/hour (Opportunities for wage advancement after employment for the right candidate)
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Morning Shift (5:00 am) / Afternoon Shift ( 2 pm onwards)
Industry: Warehouse / Logistics / Forklift Operations

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate sit-down counterbalance forklift to move and stage pallets of fresh fruits safely and efficiently.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including labeling and wrapping pallets.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Conduct inventory control and RF scanner tracking.
- Follow shipping and receiving protocols to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
- Supervise and assist other forklift operators, providing guidance on proper handling techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications:





- 2+ years of experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift (certification/license is an asset).
- Experience using a power jack, forklift, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must have safety boots and reliable transportation to get to work.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to work with attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-player attitude.
