LifeSmart Health is looking for a full-time registered Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with experience or an interest in working with complex patients in a family medicine clinic. The position will be fast paced and require the successful candidate to have strong communication skills as they work in a collaborative environment.

Shifts will be Monday to Friday with no weekend or stat holiday shifts required. The role will consist of working with a single primary supervisor in an independent role that allows the Physician Assistant to use the entire scope of their training.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Candidates must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Educational Program acceptable to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and be eligible for national certification.
- Recent clinical experience required.
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.
- In good standing with current regulatory body (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba)
- Excellent communication skills required
- Recent experience using an EMR,



particularly Accuro
- Recent experience working in an outpatient setting an asset
- Acts professionally and responsibly
- Shows a solid work ethic and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Conduct history and physical on patients
- Assist physicians in care of patients
- Provide education to patients and family
- Navigate complex patients in an outpatient setting
- Contribute to ongoing projects at the clinic
- Proficiently use EMR to document encounters
- Be flexible with a variety of shifts

Compensation:

- To be determined by experience, wages are competitive.
