The Housekeeping Staff supports the ministry of Hidden Acres by ensuring facilities are kept clean and in positive condition, reflecting an atmosphere of hospitality and caring. They should support the mission of the camp, align with its values and be willing to work supportively in a Christian, faith-based setting. They are responsible to the Facilities and Environmental Stewardship Director.

Requirements of the Housekeeping Staff:

- Should be a self-starter, able to both follow directions and initiate action to get the job done well.
- Have interest, experience and competence in a variety of housekeeping related tasks.
- Flexible and able to adapt their schedule to meet the requirements of the Hidden Acres program (evenings, weekends and holidays will be required).
- Have reliable transportation

Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Staff:

- Ensuring that all facilities are kept clean and prepared in a timely manner in accordance with the booking schedule. This includes cleaning, sweeping, mopping, laundry, disinfecting, etc.
- Willing and able to help with larger cleaning projects like, but not limited to, carpet cleaning, deep cleaning areas, etc.
- Helping to keep storage spaces,



cleaning closets and shelves clean, organized and well stocked with supplies.
- Notifying the Facilities and Environmental Stewardship Director of any repairs that need to be done, supplies running low, light bulbs needing to be replaced or any other maintenance jobs you notice as soon as possible.
- Report any damage, missing items or items left behind by a group after each group use.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
