Job Overview

We are offering a six-month contract position with flexible full-time or part-time arrangements, along with the potential for ongoing opportunities beyond the initial term. The hours would be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8:30am to 5:15pm; Wednesday from 8:30 am to 6:15pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:15pm. The ideal candidate will bring excellent clinical skills and a genuine commitment to delivering high quality, patient centered care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to build positive relationships with both patients and colleagues. We are looking for a reliable , professional individual who approaches their work with a positive attitude and takes pride in everything they do.

Duties

- Performing comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and maintaining accurate periodontal and clinical records.
- Providing preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing and fluoride treatments, as clinically indicated
- Taking and interpreting dental radiographs within your professional scope of practice




- Developing individual dental hygiene care plans based on patients' oral health needs
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, preventive care and long term oral health
- Working collaboratively with our dentists and clinical team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining high standards of infection prevention, sterilization and professional documentation.

Qualifications

- Current registration in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario(CDHO)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
