About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support its finance team on a short-term contract. This prospect is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of accounts receivable experience or someone looking for a part-time opportunity to contribute their skills in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will assist with invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliations, and collections while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process customer invoices.
- Record payments and monitor outstanding balances.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Perform basic credit checks as required.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.




- Support the finance team with daily accounts receivable activities.

Qualifications

- Approximately 1–2 years of accounts receivable experience.
- Post-secondary education.
- Experience with accounting or financial software; JD Edwards experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies.
