Overview

We are seeking a motivated Carpenter/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. We are not necessarily worried about skill for this role. We are willing to teach everything we know for the right person. As a newer crew, we are willing to take shots on the individuals who often get passed over for more skilled individuals to learn along the way with us. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from small residential renovations to large insurance projects. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction while making a tangible impact on building projects.

Some Facts about us:

- Payday is every 2 weeks.
- Payday Friday, lunch is on the company
- We do most of our work in Medicine Hat, AB.
- Work on the road is paid higher with bonuses.
- We care about safety, we pay for all your ticket courses. (First aid, Fall Arrest, Etc.)
- Currently a 2-3 man operation.
- We do almost everything in house! With the exception of skilled trades and drywall.
- We have WCB coverage, and insurance.

Responsibilities

- We do almost everything in a project, this is a big responsibility and needs the right team players to complete it efficiently and effectively. Even the boss takes his turn on clean up. We work as a team to prevent burnout and dreading work.
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to lay solid foundations and structural elements
- Install drywall, siding, flooring, tiles, cabinets,



and roofing components with attention to detail and quality standards
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for material handling, assembly, and site cleanup
- We work with insurance companies occasionally, so safety is a MUST.

Skills

- Experience with framing, concrete forming, masonry, drywall installation & finish carpentry are appreciated.
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and cabinetry installation
- Hands-on experience with roofing, siding, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical work or handyman tasks is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work; excellent teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and protocols

Pay: $18.04-$31.00 per hour
