Job Title: Project Manager IV

Location: Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB

Schedule: Full Time

Our client is seeking a Project Manager IV to lead complex facility and pipeline projects within the liquid pipelines sector. This role is ideal for an experienced project management professional who can oversee engineering, project execution, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards. This position can be based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.

What's the Job?

- Lead project management, engineering, development, and scoping activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, execution plans, contracting strategies, procurement activities, and risk mitigation plans.
- Review and approve third-party engineering deliverables, including technical reports, drawings, and material requisitions.
- Evaluate vendor quotations, assess technical bids, and support procurement activities in collaboration with Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure projects meet regulatory, environmental, health and safety, industry code, and corporate standard requirements.
- Coordinate design reviews, constructability reviews, process hazard analyses (PHA), and project assurance activities.
- Identify and support business improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
- Apply lessons learned and drive continuous improvement through contractor evaluations, standards development, and engineering best practices.
- Manage capital growth, maintenance,



and pipeline projects ranging from $500K to $200MM.

What's Needed?

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management.
- Experience managing engineering, facility, or pipeline-related projects.
- Robust knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and project reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical and business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive innovation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
