Quantum is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong understanding of fabrication and machinery. If you have an eye for detail and a practical approach to costing, we’d like to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll prepare accurate estimates for custom fabrication projects, helping our team deliver quality equipment on time and within budget.

Compensation will be based on experience.

Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for custom fabrication projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate favorable terms.
- Analyze labour, material, machining costs, and other direct expenses to ensure accurate project budgeting.
- Prepare detailed bid summaries and present estimates clearly to internal teams for review and approval.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry best practices to keep estimates current and competitive.

Requirements

- Experience in estimating within fabrication,



machining, and powder coating.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.
- Proficient with AI tools.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple quotes simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
