Part-Time Residential Site Supervisor / Site Coordinator

Woodstock, Ontario | $24–$28/hour | 25 hours/week

We are hiring for an existing vacancy to support a seven-unit residential renovation and addition in Woodstock. This is an on-site role reporting directly to the owner.

Initially, the schedule is five paid hours per day, Monday to Friday. The daily work window will be agreed around site activity. Site checks, reporting and scheduled calls are included within the paid hours.

Your role is to be the owner’s eyes and ears: verify progress, coordinate trades against the agreed plan, spot issues early and follow through until resolved.

Responsibilities

- Confirm trade attendance and actual progress each day.
- Check work against drawings and instructions; identify defects before work is concealed.
- Coordinate daily trade activity and verify readiness for upcoming work.
- Track missing materials, inspections, open questions and commitments.
- Maintain a practical two-week look-ahead with the owner.
- Provide daily photos and a concise report covering completed work, problems, decisions required and tomorrow’s plan.
- Monitor housekeeping and secure work practices; escalate hazards and technical concerns promptly.

What we are looking for

- Practical residential construction experience, especially renovations, additions or wood-frame projects.
- Lead-hand,



trade coordination or site-supervision experience is an asset.
- Ability to read construction drawings and recognize when specialist input is needed.
- Reliable attendance, sound judgment and confident, respectful follow-up with trades.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, messages and task updates.
- Reliable transportation and ability to attend the Woodstock site daily.
- Willingness and ability to complete applicable supervisor safety training.

Growth opportunity

In a few months, subject to good performance and project starts, the role may expand to include one or two additional projects in London. Expanded hours, travel arrangements and compensation would be discussed before any change. Expansion is not guaranteed.
