Rooted Wellness Psychotherapy & Counselling is a growing private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centred mental health services to individuals, children, adolescents, adults, and families in our community. We are currently seeking a part-time Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our supportive and collaborative team.

All services are delivered in accordance with the standards and ethical guidelines set forth by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and/or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

We are particularly interested in clinicians who have experience or interest in working with children, adolescents, and adults, and who are committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

- Provide individual psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with CRPO and OCSWSSW standards, privacy legislation, and professional record-keeping requirements
- Practise within scope of competence and seek supervision or consultation when clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals as needed to support co-ordinated care
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as required
- Uphold professional boundaries, informed consent, and ethical decision-making in all client interactions




- Participate in team meetings, consultation, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

- Fully licensed Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as an RP or Fully licensed Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as an MSW/RSW.
- Must have 3+ years experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Must be in good standing with the respective accredited college.
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong understanding of ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to culturally competent, client-centred care
