About Us: Growing custom railing business in Coquitlam specializing in high-quality aluminum, steel (iron), stainless, and glass railings, balconies, stairs, and guards. We serve residential and commercial clients in Tri-Cities, Burnaby, Vancouver, and beyond. Emphasis on BC Building Code, clean installs, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independent installation of railings (measuring, levelling, anchoring, finishing)
- Reading & interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings accurately
- Working safely outdoors year-round (rain or shine – coastal BC weather)
- Using power tools (angle grinder, drill, saws, etc.) for cutting, grinding & finishing
- Shop work when needed (per-assembly, prep)
- Loading/unloading materials (able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly)
- Driving truck/van for material transport & site visits (valid Class 5 license required)
- Working as part of a small team when required
- Following strict safety protocols & work ethics (punctuality, reliability, professionalism)

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves):

- Proven experience installing railings (aluminum, iron/steel, glass preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading ability
- Comfortable with power tools (grinders, drills, saws, etc.)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision




- Experience in outdoor work year-round
- Physical fitness to handle 50 lb loads & climb ladders/scaffolding
- Valid BC driver's license (clean abstract preferred)
- Commitment to safety standards & robust work ethic (on-time, respectful, detail-oriented)

Assets / Big Plus (Will Increase Pay & Opportunities):

- Leadership / supervisory experience (able to lead a small crew)
- Advanced shop skills: cutting, grinding, finishing welded pieces
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG on aluminum/steel)
- Experience with tools & machinery in a fabrication shop
