General Duties:

To support Tooling and Production Team to produce high quality Tooling and Fixtures by Programming, set-up and operation of CNC Machinery. Willingness to wear multiple hats and be a team player in a fast-paced workplace. This is Hourly full time position.

Responsibilities:

- Set up, Program and Operate EDM Machine
- Maintaining the continuous process improvement to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase throughput
- Select, pre-set and adjust settings needed for optimal speed and tolerances
- Ensure effective production of quality parts by completing final checks using gauges and measuring equipment

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other instructions

· Perform Routine Maintenance on Equipment & Machinery

· Maintain shop equipment to ensure they are working safely and per manufacturer specification

· Assist with product development activities including sample making

· Order inventory & raw material

· Works on special projects as directed by the management team.

· Contributes to team effort by taking on added tasks as required.

· Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of all data

· Participate in Environmental,



Health & Safety meetings

· Lead and maintain a safe, secure, enjoyable professional working environment.

Qualifications:

· College Diploma or Engineering degree in Technical discipline

· Must have ability to program and operate EDM Machines

· Knowledge of Sodick EDM is prefered

· Minimum 3 Years Experience with Cam software like Mastercam, Cimitron or Surfcam

· Experience in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing

· Experience in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings

· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and organizational skills

· Ability to lift and maneuver heavy weights

· Attention to details and reporting activities

· Self-motivating with a positive attitude

· Ability to work independently and problem solve

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
