We are hiring for an industrial bakery in Mississauga, ON. for an expereinced Forklift Operator.

Please note that the selected candidate will be required to come in during the day shift for a few days to complete training with our warehouse team. Further details will be provided closer to the training date.

Training hours: 6:30AM-3PM

Working Hours: 2:30PM-11PM

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Lead a safety-first and continuous improvement culture.
- Pull product and operate material handling/forklift operating equipment
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices, POs, or other documents
- Handle and package orders
- Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming goods.
- All other duties as assigned by the Company.

Qualifications:





- Preference will be given to those with experience working in a food processing facility.
- 1+ years counterbalance forklift driving experience (preferred).
- HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL REQUIRED.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team workplace.
- “Can do” attitude with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues.
- Able to work occasionally in a cold environment (storage freezer area).
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills.
- Understanding of GMP, BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards and regulations.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
