Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable web applications, building backend services using Java and Spring Boot, and creating responsive frontend applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java-based technologies.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular or React.
- Design, implement, and optimize relational databases and SQL queries.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and effective code.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Contribute to application deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Qualifications





- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Frontend development experience using Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of automated testing and application monitoring tools.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (York District)
