Job Overview
The Floral Warehouse Associate at QFresh Floral Logistics supports daily operations in a fast-paced floral distribution setting. This role involves handling, organizing, and preparing boxes of flowers and supplies for delivery while maintaining quality and adhering to safety standards. This is not a florist position.

Your average week will consist of unloading and loading semi trucks of product. organizing and repackaging skids of boxes, and working with the team to process product, pick product and organize skids for delivery purposes, and ensuring product arrivals are accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Flower Handling and Preparation:
- Unload, inspect, and sort incoming floral shipments for quality assurance.
- Inventory Management:
- Organize and stock flowers and materials in designated storage areas.
- Track inventory levels, ensuring proper rotation to maintain freshness.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Pick, pack, and label flowers and supplies according to customer orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipments for delivery.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled work environment.
- Dispose of waste and manage cleaning routines to uphold sanitary conditions.
- Safety and Compliance:




- Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines while handling materials.
- Report damaged goods or equipment issues promptly.
- Other tasks as required by team

Skills

- Has valid class 5 license and able to commute to Airdrie AB.
- Has a valid counterbalance forklift license would be an asset.
- Must be comfortable with the use of manual and power jacks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand consistently throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a cool environment.
- Must be available for extended work during floral holidays (valentines, mothers day etc)
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience and knowledge in working with flowers is a strong asset.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
