We are a store front which set up a nice fancy showroom in West Vancouver. Our showroom contains a high variety of DME and home healthcare equipment. Some for rent and some for sale. Our customers are seniors, disabled people, injured or operated patients, or whoever has a mobility issue.

Position overview:

We are looking for a handyman who loves assisting our valued customers and clients who are mostly seniors; face to face or via phone or email. They come to us to resolve a mobility problem by product. Sometimes they have a prescription or recommendation from an M.D, O.T, P.T, or a specialist and sometimes they don't. It is our job to assess the patient's situation and come up with a cost-effective and productive solution.

Responsibilities:
- Providing maintenance and repair medical healthcare equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as PM, cleaning and adjustments on the returned rental equipment.

- Installing bathroom safety products such as grab bars in our customers' bathroom.
- Conducting inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards.
-Listening to the customer to understand their needs





-Coming up with appropriate solutions based on their needs

-Providing right information about the best fit product
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand equipment needs and provide technical support.

-Booking appointment for delivery and installation

-Receiving and checking off orders

Experience:
- Previous experience in maintaining mechanical equipment is mandatory.

-must know all the tools and how they work including drilling walls.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with seniors, healthcare professionals and staff.

- knowing electronics and circuits is an asset.

-must be fluent in English.

- must have driving license.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
