Job Overview

Forbes Waterloo Toyota is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued customers and our Toyota-certified technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience.

Your enthusiasm for automotive care, combined with strong communication skills, will drive customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. You will manage repair orders, provide accurate estimates, and recommend services aligned with Toyota’s factory maintenance schedule, helping customers maintain vehicle performance, safety, and warranty compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs
- Provide detailed estimates and clearly explain repair options, including Toyota Maintenance Schedule (Service #1, #2, #3, etc.) recommendations
- Educate customers on services such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid exchanges, and multi-point inspections
- Coordinate with Toyota-certified technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion
- Manage service processes,



including opening and closing repair orders and tracking workflow throughout the day
- Recommend preventative maintenance based on Toyota Canada guidelines, mileage intervals, and driving conditions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all services align with Toyota warranty and maintenance standards
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding vehicle status, timelines, and any additional findings from inspections

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is strongly preferred
- Experience working with Toyota or OEM maintenance schedules is a strong asset
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a quick-paced, team-oriented dealership environment
- Experience with dealership service systems and repair order management preferred

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
